Hi my name is Summer. I am 33 years old and married to my best friend Josh for almost 5 years. About 3 years ago we decided to “pull the goalie” and try for a baby. We envisioned it taking some time but after the second month… poof positive pregnancy test! We were amazed, scared, and exhilarated! More importantly though we were overjoyed. Things don’t always happen as planned. We have had 2 missed miscarriages 1 in the first trimester, 1 early in the second trimester. Our third pregnancy started really positiviely, until we got news of a Trisomy 13 diagnosis at 18 weeks. Our little girl Linden passed away 2 days before she was due. This is our conception journey good, bad, and other. This is also about the strongest love I have ever known for a little angel named Linden Lilac.
